Fifteen years designing, five of them at Dyson. I worked across the North American product lines and built the Figma libraries that held the work together. Now I run a one-person studio from Milwaukee, and AI is how I move faster. The work is brand systems, web and product design, and automation that earns its keep. I take senior design roles inside teams, and engagements that need to move quickly.

Joel is a very talented designer — one of the best I’ve worked with in his skill with design software and using them to harness his creativity into a great product. Joel is always eager and seeking out the newest design trends to incorporate into his latest work. He works in a variety of channels seamlessly from print ads and banners, to digital ads, responsive web pages, and emails. Joel is also great to work with and receives feedback very well while seeking to improve. I’d work with him in again in heartbeat.
I’ve managed and hired dozens of creatives throughout my career and have to say that Joel is one of my favorites. He’s prompt, professional and has a keen sense for what works in the real world. More often than not, he’s added value by coming at things from a perspective we didn’t consider. He meshes well with everyone he’s collaborated with here, and requires minimal supervision. Plus, he’s just a really decent person to work with.
Joel was not only immediately responsive to our needs via email, text and phone but created work to our specifications within 48 hours. Based on this experience, we are continuing to work with Joel on future projects, as he continues to amaze us with his speed of response and quality of work. And he’s a really nice guy, to boot.
