Kit Authority.

A gear publication organized around what people are trying to do. I developed the brand and product direction, built the site with AI assistance, and extended the identity into tools and motion.

Start with the job

Buying guides and navigation begin with the activity: camp, hike, travel, or train. I set the visual system, typography, and interaction direction, then used AI-assisted development to build and refine the experience.

Turn research into decisions

The Park Pack Planner combines park, season, activity, and trip length into a useful preparation brief and checklist. The Walking Pad Fit Checker translates body, desk, and room constraints into product criteria. Both are live tools built around specific decisions, rather than another list of products.

One identity, in motion

The tent-door shape inside the mark became the organizing idea for a short brand film and a reusable motion package. I directed and approved the work, produced with generated imagery and compositing. The package includes brand stings, transitions, lower thirds, chapters, and end cards for long-form and vertical video.
